Thermofit or heat-shrink tubing is a tube that shrinks when heat is applied, either with a flame, hot air or some other heat source. It can shrink to 50% of its original diameter (2:1 ratio).

Thermofit different sizes
It serves to protect or insulate cables in an electrical installation, or to reduce abrasion damage to the materials where it is applied.

Thermofit application
It can be a substitute for electrical tape in electrical installations. Thermofit tubing can be found in different colors and diameters, which is useful for organizing and identifying cables.
The material from which thermofit is made is cross-linked polyolefin, which includes high and low density polyethylenes.
It can be found in different diameters according to the needs of the application.
