We refer to this automatically collected information as “Device Information.” We collect Device Information using Cookies.

TYPES OF COOKIES WE USE

We use first-party and third-party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Site to operate or to provide you with basic functionalities; we refer to these as “strictly necessary” cookies. Other cookies allow us to track and target the interests of our users and improve their experience on our Site.

Third parties also serve cookies through our Site for advertising, analytics, and other purposes. The specific types of first-party and third-party cookies served through our Site and the purposes they perform are described in more detail below.

1. First-party cookies

These are cookies generated by the Bose administrator. For the most part, they are used to allow you to browse our Site and use its features. They can also assist us with analysis activities.

2. Third-party cookies

In addition to our proprietary cookies, some external and affiliated companies may send cookies to your device, access them, and associate them with web beacons. These cookies allow us to offer third-party features or functionalities on or through our Site. The parties that set these third-party cookies can recognize your device both when it visits our Site and when it visits other specific websites.

The types of first-party and third-party cookies we use on the Site are as follows:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: these cookies are strictly necessary to provide you with the services available through our Site and cannot be disabled. These cookies allow you to use some of the Site's features, such as accessing secure areas that require registration, setting privacy preferences, or notifications of pending items in your cart.
  • Functional cookies: these cookies allow you to navigate our Site or benefit from some of its enhanced features, such as remembering language preferences or using instant messaging support. As with strictly necessary cookies, disabling these cookies may affect your ability to use some Site functionalities, for example, setting your preferences.
  • Analytics cookies: these cookies allow both us and our external analytics providers to collect information and statistics about your and other visitors' use of our Site. Thanks to this information, Bose can improve the features offered on our Site.
  • Advertising source cookies: these cookies, which are owned by Bose, generate advertisements on our Services that are solely related to your activities on our Services. These cookies do not collect or use information about your activities on other websites or services.
  • Third-party preference cookies: these cookies, provided by our external advertising partners, are used to collect information about your browsing habits, as well as your product and service preferences, both on Bose Services and on third-party websites and services. This information allows Bose and its external advertising providers to display relevant content and advertising on our Site and on other sites you visit while browsing the Internet.

In addition to the technologies mentioned above, we also use various Google tracking products, including Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. These products allow us to analyze user behavior on our website and optimize our marketing strategies. Google Analytics 4 provides us with detailed information about how users interact with the Site, while Google Ads helps us track the performance of our online advertising campaigns.

These tools use cookies and other similar technologies to collect data such as user activity and device information. For more information on how Google uses your data, please see Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, Mercado Pago and PayPal account addresses), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.” When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to: communicate with you; screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

To comply with the requirements of the Tax Administration Service (SAT), invoices are issued for all orders placed through the website. To facilitate the issuance of these invoices to the client, their Digital Tax Receipt via Internet (CFDI) will be requested.

This process is carried out easily, quickly, and securely, allowing for the issuance of invoices, credit notes, professional service receipts, lease receipts, payment supplements, waybills, and any other necessary CFDI. If the CFDI is not received from the client, an invoice will be issued with the provided purchase details.

It is important to note that this data may be stored to facilitate future purchases by the client.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
