Applications and Uses
Nowadays, it is very common to find these devices integrated into any electronic appliance, whether to indicate that it is on, within a screen to generate an image, or in the streets for public lighting.
The first LEDs began to be used in television remote controls. These types of LEDs were infrared and facilitated turning the TV on and off or changing channels from a distance.
RGB LED
RGB LEDs are devices that integrate 3 LEDs into one. The three colors they handle are red, green, and blue, and these types of LEDs allow for creating an extensive range of colors.
Depending on the semiconductor compound used in LEDs, light emissions of different colors can be obtained.
